Abstract

Community participation is the participation of the community in the process of identifying problems and potentials that exist in the community, selecting and making decisions about alternative solutions to deal with problems, implementing efforts to overcome problems and community involvement in the process of evaluating changes that occur. Awareness is the same as introspection, awareness can also be interpreted as a condition where an individual has full control over internal stimuli and external stimuli. Meanwhile, the success of village development is something that is achieved based on the efforts and results of cooperation between one another. The problem in this study is "Is there a simultaneous, partial and more dominant influence of community participation and awareness on the success of development in Dotik Village, Alas District, Manufahi Regency?". Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that the constant value of Village Development is 1,340 if Community Participation and Community Awareness are 0. Community Participation (X1) affects Village Development by 0.607, this is evidenced by a partial test where t count> t (table) is 10.622>1.986 with a significance below 0.05, namely 0.000, so it can be interpreted that if there is a one-unit change in Community Participation, Village Development will also be affected by 0.607. Community Awareness (X2) affects Village Development by 0.378 with the proof of t (count)> t (table) which is 6.864> 1.986 with a significance below 0.05, namely 0.000. so it can be interpreted that if there is a one-unit change in Community Awareness, Village Development will also be affected by 0.378. From partial testing using the t test of the two independent variables, it is found that the Community Participation variable (X1) has a greater effect on Village Development (Y), namely 10.622, There is also a simultaneous influence of Community Participation (X1) and Community Awareness (X2) on Village Development (Y) when proven through the F test, where the value of F count> F (table) is 177.410>3.095 with a significance below 0.05, namely 0.000. Community Participation and Community Awareness simultaneously have a very strong relationship to Development in Dotik Village, Alas District, Manufahi Regency, this can be seen from the results of the SPSS version 21 analysis where the correlation coefficient value is 0.891 or 89.1% and the two independent variables determine an influence of 0.794 or 79.4% while the remaining 20.6% is determined by other variables outside this study.
